OUR ROOTS
What We’re All About
Great Hope Preschool is developmentally appropriate in its approach to early childhood care and education. Our program provides each child with the opportunity to attach firmly to a warm, responsive, appropriate, and consistent adult during the early years of your child’s life. We believe that children learn best by active exploration of their learning environment through play. Play is the foundation for academic learning and discoveries. According to Jean Piaget’s theory, learning is established through play and exposure to a variety of experiences. We believe that a home away from home should provide a warm, positive, understanding, safe, secure, and loving, place for a child to play and learn. Children are individuals with unique and special needs. Reach out to learn more, and enroll with us today!

Toddlers - Ages One Year to Two Years
At this age, your child is learning at a rapid rate. Each activity is purposeful and intentionally planned based on the teachers’ observations of each child and your child’s needs as well as their interests.

Field Trips
Community involvement and engagement produces long-term benefits. It gives children a sense of belonging and is crucial to the building of their identity. Children are gifted the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve greatness through their community.
Communities are rich learning laboratories. Field trips make it possible for children to see the connections between what is happening at school and in the ‘real-world’. Field trips and hands on learning make concepts more memorable.

Parent Involvement
Families are the keystone that holds the educational framework together. When parents foster an atmosphere of learning and collaborate with educators, the entire educational system benefits, from students to teachers to parents themselves.

Healthy Homemade Meals
Cutting down fat, sugar and salt. Serving whole grains, fruit and vegetables. These meals incorporate food from the four main food groups – grains, protein, vegetable and fruit. Milk is served with breakfast and snack. Meals are included in tuition.

Formula Provided
Our infant program includes healthy formula and baby food at no extra cost. We provide Parent's Choice™ Advantage® Infant Formula milk-based and soy based baby formula with iron that is a sole source of complete nutrition for your little one's first year.

Environmental Education
By providing both unstructured and structured experiences in nature from an early age, children build an understanding of the natural world that allows them to engage in increasingly complex investigation and knowledge building over time.
